All of this coincidence happened because of my off -the-cuff response on my online group chat, then i got a chance to held an agenda (kind of sharing time to kill our time before breakfasting (ngabuburit)).

Shortly, everything are prepared well, really thanks to Inun who was willing to help to prepare this sharing time. Somehow, it gave me a little throwback to my senior high school time, when i always became sie acara.Always. Making rundown was really my favourite. lol. But that was so many years before, since i tried another field in the college :")

But anyway,

This sharing session is really a thing. I feel so inferior since everybody in the room have already started their bussiness and seems so assured abt what they r doing. I hope i am not late.

Anyway, the discussion give so many things i have to note about branding. He was telling us the difference between markting, advertisng, and branding. How far a good branding will affect how people think about our product. There r some steps that a customer would experience; unaware -- aware -- interested -- research -- purchase. Those gaps between the steps are the chance for producer/seller to make a move, and where marketing, advertising, or branding were played.

And i really can relate that definition with my own condition. Branding is not just about a inanimate object, even we can give brand to ourself. Unconsiously  we have branded ourself which can lead people to set expectation from us. I cant deny that i am kind of person who live from people expectation. I try to fill what people expect to me in order to not let them down.

In some moments, i grumble to myself why i have to care about what people say. Then i realized, that responses i get from my surrounding, those are the consequences of the brandng that i already set from the beginning. And as long as those things tend to lead me to right way, so it wont be a loss if i make it as a matter. Apparently, it can be another motivation for me to be better and keep everythings on the right tracks.

So, it is really important to set a good brand about ourself. Because Jeff Bezon said that "Ur brand is what people say about you when u r not in the room"
