Weaning is marking 2 years experience of breastfeeding. Never thought that 2 years was just a blink of an eye.

Nevertheless, remembering how i started that cluelessly and flustered, it is really remarkable.

Also, Not forget to mention How Great Allah through doa nabi yunus and surat maryam are.

First Chapter: Collecting data era.

Remember back to the days when i joined breastfeeding class, parenting classes, parenting podcast everyday. And anything which has sound in it will be played out loud so that not just me but Gio also can learn.

Some of the lesson were captured, mostly something applicable and not have to be decided in little time, (like what you have to do when your baby bilirubin rate is high, as normal newbie parent did, we were alsopanicking, and let the doctor decide). then, most of the lecturer, were just passing by. 

But i still have to say that, to study the textbook is still worth it. At least i knew that i ever learned this, if i forgot, i know what i have to search.

Second chapter: Execution - Initial Part

Latching was the hardest part. 

You know that everything was chaos when i even did not have a chance to take a picture (other than the newborn picture) of the moment.

Hard because, i could not make the attachment position is right or effective so she can be fed. Pro tips: for me, dbf while sleep side by side with the baby is the best thing.

Hard because, new born tongue was incredible, /kasar/. Pro tip: Put on Lansinoh 😭😭. And afterwards the baby lips seemed like using the lipgloss 🤣🤣

Hard because, i did not have an enough time (or the usual time) of sleeping. Pro tip: Just be at ease with that. (Nb. Please remember that this last for 2 years or any time until i do the weaning)

Third chapter: Execution - Holding On Phase

Last part: Weaning

Never thought that affirmation will always take a very big part in a child life.

I did what every post said "do the affirmation before weaning. Never take it as granted". And turns out, it works. keep saying it before bed that one day, when you are great enough, when you are a big girl, then no need to do na na with mommy anymore.

I keep it as a mantra every night.

Then, in one evening after i got back from work, she said "na na mommy sakit, rayya g nana" 

CRY CRY CRYYY. She is a big girl now. Allahuakbar.

This is about getting back to my saddle to read.

I read 2 books in 2025, one is Haenim Sunim book (finished it less than a week), and the second is the whole brain child (took months).
